Snap Chat Shares #2

I believe I started the week off with my rant against Capri pants. I hate them, like want to start a club and be the president, CAN'T STAND THEM. With that being said, I adore a cute flood or ankle pant but those are not easy to find. Solution - buy a regular length pair of jeans and have them altered. Which is exactly what I shared on snap chat.
I bought three pairs of jeans from Wal-Mart...yes you read right, I typed Wal-Mart!
I like that their jeans are BASIC, dark denim, no frills and I can have them altered (and did have them altered) to the length I like. On top of Capri pants making me shake my head. PLEASE PLEASE if you are a woman over forty do not wear jeans with shit all over the pockets. You know what I mean - rhinestones and embellishment. I don't care how cute you think your butt is, DON'T DO IT.
The walmart jeans I purchased are Lee Riders (insert giggling here) and No boundaries at my local Wal-Mart they were under $12 (two were only $9). I can promise you that no one knows they are from Wal-Mart when I wear them, and big deal if they do,  Don't worry about getting the same brand I did, even if you find jeans at Target, get what fits you and have them altered to few inches above the ankel.   Do not buy skinny jeans, they do NOT make you skinny they make you SILLY.  Below is a link to the exact jeans I bought they are slightly more than what I paid ($19.94) but still extremely affordable.

Belt Buckle
Last week I shared the leopard belt (see previous post for belt information) which I wear almost everyday. This week I found a great way to change it up a bit and make it even BETTER. Change the buckle with a great blue and white or some other simple yet interesting buckle. By interesting I don't mean a big Texas buckle that Pookie might of won, I mean  a beautiful broken china buckle (I'll add a link to where I got mine).
The TURQUOISE EARRINGS are not mass produced, the best advice I can give is to hit eBay and Etsy and search for Turquoise Slab earrings. Pay attention to sizes when ordering you don't want itty bitty. Mine are right at three inches including the hook.

Anorak Jacket
I bought this jacket and had TONS of questions about it (that is not me in picture but from their site) and I bought the striped shirt ( its not that low on me, thank goodness).
This is a direct link to the jacket

TRAVEL MAKE UP MIRROR
This is the exact mirror I use to travel. I actually have two ( found one on sale for under ten bucks and thought I'd pick up). It has a regular mirror on one side and a magnified mirror (1X/3X) the other. It adjust to several angles and takes three AAA batteries . It folds flat and it super light weight. I have had the first one for more than three years, they are $20 and the only "thing" I can mention is that once in a while I will pack it in my bag and the on button gets pushed and my batteries dies.
You can find it here

MICRO-FIBER WASH CLOTHES

MAKEUP REMOVER

During the first stay this week for the Houston Rodeo I shared a bit of my makeup preparation in a hotel room.  I always use these white microfiber towels to remove my makeup with the Algenist Melting Makeup remover ( probably not the name but I'll link it)

I also use the micofiber towels for laying my makeup on top of the counter or table at a hotel. Every day, even at home I put one in my lap as I do my makeup, they are great to wipe your brush off of and hands.  Alot of times I can find them at Dollar Tree (three in a pack for a dollar) but after mentioning on SnapChat I can't find them ( the spot is still there but empty).   They wash up great and when they don't anymore they get thrown out or become towels to clean my car.
I have found them and bought them on Amazon as well, the link is here

FOUNDATION
I have been wearing this foundation ( Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(marc)able Full Coverage Foundation Concentrate) every day for a week or longer and I am in love with it. I think I need a slightly darker color but all in all I'm hooked. It is a lot of coverage and works for my dry skin, I feel like foundation is such a personal makeup choice, be flexible with yourself try out products (don't be afraid to ask for samples, even of foundation) and because something doesn't work for your friend doesn't mean you won't love it.
I wear the shade Beige Medium

UNDER EYE CONCEALER
For concealer I use the It Cosmetics Bye Bye UnderEye, its creamy and a little thick so be light handed.
I generally apply with a beauty blender and always over eye cream. I use the shade: Medium

CONCEALER
Now don't get worried, I do wear enough makeup for a small circus and I may be part clown but I do not wear two concealers under my eyes. This one I use to hide some of the "old". You know what I mean the spots or blemishes, those things.  It is thick as well but I warm up between my fingers and then apply to area or areas of concern.

EYE PATCHES
I get asked ALL the time about my mask and eye patches. I love a eye patch and mask, talk about giving your skin a quick drink. Patches and mask are such a nice boost and treat for my skin.
I have recently bought some new eye patches ( not these) but I have only used them twice so lets wait on the thoughts. I have used these a bunch and enjoy them. I feel like my under eye area is more moisturized after and less puffy. There are 60 pieces or 30 pairs of eye patches in the jar and about $20

LIP-GLOSS
For the past week and a half I have been wearing the Pop Of Pink Lip Gloss in Sweet Dreams, I really like it and see another one in my immediate future (need on for car and one for house). I have their blush in pixie which is nice, a bit bright when you look at it but does NOT come across that way on the skin (but it is pigmented). I don't have any of their eye shadows or "kits" so I can't say, but I would like to try them, The colors are pretty and the quality of the other products I do have is great.I do intend to try more.
The lip gloss is in the color SWEET DREAMS I'm including the direct link to it.

MONOGRAMMED CONVERSE
I have been wearing my monogrammed converse and you all NEED to know where to get. This Etsy shop sells the CONVERSE and does the monogramming, I have ordered mine from her and my daughters and we are very pleased, Her monogramming is not tiny she actually removes the ugly converse tag off the tongue of the shoe to make the monogram larger and prettier.
She has several different colors of converse to choose from and lots of sizes. If you don't see what you are looking for message her, she's great at helping out. Both mine and my daughters are white with navy monograms.

PERFUME
Atelier Cologne Necessaire Nomade - tin with 15 different scents for $45
The samples out at Sephora where nice and had me wanted to try to more from the line,

Tokyo Milk set - couldn't find online at Sephora but I did purchase at Sephora just not online.
I literally just bought these yesterday BUT was asked to include them, I have not used a single one, not once! I can not comment, I do plan to try them but other than that I know nothing about them.

VINYL MONOGRAM STICKERS
to find the source I use for monogram stickers please go back to the first snapchat share post and read under the external charger. The information and link is there.

NAIL COLOR
I have shared on snapchat the actual bottle they use on me at the nail salon. It is a clear bottle with ONLY the number 38 on it. I have asked for more information and they look at me like I am asking for all the cash in the register.  I do not know what else to do or say, I am sorry. It is an acrylic powder with the color in the powder. I do not actually have polish on. The bottle of acrylic only had the number the 38 on it.

SMALL PINK FOLDING MIRROR
( I added monogram to it)
The little pink folding mirror that can stand once folded open was from FOREVER 21, for $2.90 and I couldn't find it on their site.

NAVY DRESS
I mentioned on snapchat it is from Charlotte Russe (same place as jacket above), I could not find on their site.

FAVORITE BEAUTY YOUTUBER
Kristin Gehm

I hope all this information is helpful, have a wonderful SPRING BREAK.

Love and Limes,
Tikaa
